After more than 60 years, the Mindanao State University (MSU) System has finally broken ground last October 28 for the construction of its 4-storey building located along Maysilo Street corner San Francisco Street in Mandaluyong City. The ceremony was led by the University President Atty. Basari D. Mapupuno together with the MSU Board of Regents, officials of the MSU System and the various MSU campuses as well as officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH-NCR).

The four-story building will be the new home and liaison office of the MSU Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography, MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology and MSU-Marawi, among others. The funding for the project will come from the General Appropriations Act of 2022 under the DPWH.
