Philippine tennis ace and Cagayan de Oro pride Francis Casey Alcantara has just bagged his third doubles title for the year after partnering with Thailand’s Pruchya Isaro for the doubles championship yesterday, October 1, in the Hai Dang Cup, an M25 ITF Tennis Tournament in Tay Ninh, Vietnam.

Alcantara and Isaro had to dig deep before beating Yu Hsiou Hsu of Chinese Taipei and Wishaya Trongcharoenchaikul of Thailand, 2-6, 6-3, 10-3 for the title.


In May this year, Alcantara won his first doubles title for 2022 teaming with Colin Sinclair of Northern Mariana Islands for the doubles crown in the M25 ITF Tennis Tournament in Cairo, Egypt. They beat the Russian pair of Dennis Klok and Ilya Rudiukov, 6-3, 6-3 in the finals.


Then in June this year, Alcantara and Nam Hoang Ly of Vietnam beat the Korean pair of Uisung Park and Ji Hoon Son, 6-3, 6-1 for the doubles title in the M15 ITF Tennis Tournament in Tay Ninh, Vietnam.
