A sailfish which is locally known as “liplipan” and considered the fastest fish in the world has been caught by a fisherman from Clarin, Misamis Occidental, Philippines in the open seas last September 23. Based on published studies, the sailfish is recorded to attain swimming speeds of 110 kph. They are known for its huge first dorsal fin, which spans the length of its body.
