The City Government of Cagayan de Oro led by City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy today, September 21, 2022 formally turned over ten (10) police patrol cars and eight (8) police roving motorcycles to the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO). In his message, Mayor Klarex Uy recalled his son’s murder which fueled his resolve to help the city police in their campaign against criminality in the city.

During this morning’s event, Mayor Klarex is also optimistic on the new location of Police Precinct 1 at the old post office along Toribio Chaves Street in Divisoria which will serve as a unified command center. Meanwhile, City Director PCol Aaron Mandia, for his part, reminded the city’s police precinct commanders to ensure the maintenance of the vehicles to maximize their use.
