Kate Bobadilla scored 22 points and Louna Ozar had an all around game of 8 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals as Gilas Pilipinas Under-18 Women’s squad pulled away in the 4th quarter to beat Thailand, 65-50, in the FIBA Asia Womens Under-18 Championship in Bangalore, India.

Gilas played with only 11 players since both Bobadilla and Canada-based Hope Manglal-lan got their Philippine passports after the age of 16. The coaching staff retained Bobadilla as a naturalized player. They next face Samoa tonight.
