Following the viral Panglao, Bohol incident, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Misamis Oriental is looking into allegations of overpriced food in tourist spots along Route 955 in Claveria as well as in other places in the province. This was disclosed by Vice Governor Jigjag Pelaez during yesterday’s 6th Regular Session at the Provincial Capitol. Accordingly, Board Member Boboy Sabal III received such reports which prompted him to bring the matter to the SP.

Numerous tourist spots have already opened along Route 955 or the Villanueva-Claveria-Gingoog Road and these included restaurants and private resorts.
