Another affordable yet Instagrammable hotel has opened in Cagayan de Oro City. 1001 NIGHTS HOTEL located in Mabulay Subdivision in Barangay 27 is inspired by the breathtaking Riad concept popular in Marrakesh, a city in Morroco known for architecture and design.
GETTING THERE. 1001 Nights Hotel is just a walking distance from the city’s major malls. See map below.

Its white facade is easily recognizeable.

Owners Carlos “Litoy” Cecilio and Roelf Wentholt utilizes contemporary Mediterranean design touches on its interiors which you can observe along its courtyard-like atrium at the ground floor.

Pockets of greenery provide a cool ambiance in the seemingly peaceful setting and spacious balconies.

All 25 rooms are fully air-conditioned with welcome kits and limited FREE Wifi. Unlimited Wifi however, is available at the ground floor. They serve ube-cheese pandesal and 3-in-1 coffee every morning. Rooms are classified as either Economy Room, Family Room, Standard Room and Super Saver Room. They’re currently offering discounted rates on all of their rooms for a limited period only. Discounted rates start at P1,200. By the way, they require a P1,000 deposit upon check-in which will be returned during check-out.

The 5-storey 1001 Nights Hotel is more like two buildings joined by bridges.

With an open facade, there is enough air circulation along the hallways and natural lighting dominates the interiors.

The place is also perfect for photoshoots for a Moroccan setting.

Accessibility is one of its major plus points being located right at the heart of the city and just a short distance to malls, hospitals, universities and government agencies.
