Here’s the latest aerial survey of the new Mangima Bridge, part of the 6.7-kilometer Mangima-Agusan Canyon Bypass Road located in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. The new bridge could yet be another iconic landmark in the province when finally completed. Photos by TRip ni Tonio.
Just in case you’re not familiar of the bridge’s location, here’s a map. The new bridge will allow motorists to bypass the zigzag portion of Sayre Highway near Mangima River. It will start from the vast pineapple plantation and connects to Sayre Highway proceeding to Barangay Dalirig.
As shown, basically the whole span is already done.
You can see the bridge approach coming from the pineapple fields. The other approach is still under construction
This is definitely one of the highest bridge in Bukidnon.
Compare it with the old Atugan Bridge (see below). Which do you think is higher?
