Kagay-anon Captain Patrick Roa has been elected as the first Filipino member in the Board of Directors of the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) during the organization’s Annual General Meeting in Singapore last June 28, 2022.
Captain Patrick Roa, a pilot by profession joined AsBAA as an independent member in February 2021, and shortly was appointed as Board of Governor and Philippine chapter chair as he assumes the Board of Director position.
Patrick is an experienced pilot with over 13,000 hours of total flight time in various aircraft types. He also was part of management handling Safety and Security for an LCC. He is a teacher at heart and continues to mentor and coach aspiring pilots and experienced aviators. As AsBAA Chapter Chair for the Philippines, Patrick has bolstered the camaraderie of the Chapter, and even in the face of the pandemic, Philippine business aviation has never been as alive and thriving. – from AsBAA Biography
The AsBAA is a non-profit representing business and general aviation entities based in Asia and around the world, and the Annual General Meeting is AsBAA’s first face-to-face event since the beginning of the pandemic. Members of the organization are mostly major operators, aircraft manufacturers, aviation service providers, finance, and insurance providers.
