Megaworld subsidiary Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. (GERI), the Philippines’ leading developer of master-planned integrated tourism estates is still keen for its project in Cagayan de Oro after posting online a job ad for a Permits and Licenses Specialist position for Northern Mindanao.

Here’s a screenshot of the job ad.

GERI’s property in Cagayan de Oro is Mountain Meadows, a 260-hectare residential subdivision in Upper Gusa which it acquired in 2012. The development includes a 4-hectare commercial area at the entrance. GERI acquired it from then Fil-Estate Land, Inc.

Photo below shows Mountain Meadows with the city proper in the horizon. The road networks have all been completed before GERI acquired the project.

The section on the upper left is the proposed commercial area.

In Megaworld’s 2021 Annual Report, Cagayan de Oro was identified as among its planned township projects for 2022.

Keep posted.
