An elderly who is a retired female teacher was killed after a maroon Mitsubishi Montero Sport whose driver was allegedly drunk plowed into a roadside store at Zone 4, Pagatpat, Cagayan de Oro City. The victim was buying at the market when the accident happened.
Police investigators identifed the victim as Carmencita Bete Montano, 74 yrs old, widow, a resident of Mindanao Homes, Pagatpat. Meanwhile, the driver was identified as Ervin Villalon Lisondra, 26, single, a resident of Johndorf Subdivision in Barra, Opol.
