The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) recently issued a Cease and Desist Order (CDO) against the operators and owners of the Kianteg Development Corporation (KDC) for illegally occupying a portion of the Manobo-Pulangiyon Ancestral Domain located in the Municipality of Quezon, Province of Bukidnon.

In his Facebook post, NCIP Commissioner Allen Capuyan stated that the CDO was personally served by a team from NCIP-10 to an employee (private security) of the KDC and witnessed by representatives of other national government agencies (NGAs) present including NICA, DENR, CHR, DILG, PNP, PA, and members of the Media Sector.
