Police in Cagayan de Oro City are still looking for the suspects in the fatal shooting of an Israeli national in Nazareth last Thursday, March 31, 2022.
In a press release, Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) City Director PCol Aaron Mandia identified the victim as Reuven Baranovitz, of legal age, temporarily renting an apartment unit along 11th-20th St. Barangay Nazareth.
Initial investigation by police revealed that the victim went outside his rented apartment unit before an unidentified gunman wearing a seven colors t-shirt and maong pants and shot the victim five times and fled on board a motorcycle driven by an accomplice a black t-shirt and short pants.
