Cagayan de Oro City Councilor Roger Abaday is asking traffic authorities why only 6-wheelers and trucks are allowed to pass a portion of the Coastal Road which connects to Puntod-Kauswagan Bridge.

In his recent special report to the City Council, Kag. Abaday said although he was happy that the Coastal Road was finally opened to motorists travelling between Gusa and Kauswagan, several of them were apprehended along the said section as shown below where only 6-wheelers and above are allowed to pass. Below is an aerial shot.

He also wanted to know if there was basis in granting RTA personnel the authority to apprehend motorists in the said diversion road. His report was referred to the Roads and Traffic Management Committee chaired by Councilor Romeo Calizo.
