Two teams from TAGOLOAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (TNHS) in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental with their coach Mr. Alfred Mark Aguilor recently bagged awards in the just concluded 12th Regional Congress: Search for SEAMEO Young Scientists (SSYS) held virtually March 8-10, 2022 and organized by SEAMEO RECSAM in collaboration with International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia. Congratulations!

A team of Grade 10 students of TNHS composed of Franz P. Mabayo, John Louie P. Idano and Eric Lamumay won “Outstanding Award For Research Report” for their for their research title “On the General Formula of the nth Term and Sum of n Terms of the Corona Sequence.”

Meanwhile, a team of Grade 9 students of TNHS composed of Alcherika T. Badal, Kyessa B. Yator, Alexa Yuah Varzilee V. Asgali and Jhorain Mae B. Razalo won the “Special Award For Application of Mathematical Principles and Process” for their research title “On The Sum of Arrays of Consecutive Integers.”
