Cagayan de Oro’s Clint Niño Neri moved a step closer to making the country’s athletics delegation for this year’s Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Vietnam after ranking first in men’s long jump event in the MILO-PATAFA Performance Time Trial held at Imus City Grandstand in Imus, Cavite yesterday, February 27, 2022. Neri leapt 7.21 meters to rank No. 1 among 6 contending athletes in the qualifying rounds. Watch his performance below.

It can be recalled that Deputy Speaker Cong. Rufus Rodriguez sponsored the participation of both Neri and Go in the SEA Games qualifying event which included the athletes’ plane tickets from CDO to Manila, and their return to CDO, and other expenses.
