Help poured in for a stray cat in Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City after it was rescued by CDO Animal Rescue Org, a volunteer NGO rescue group in the city upholding animal rights. When reported, the cat had already no front legs apaprently abused and chopped off by some twisted individual.


In its Facebook post, CDO Animal Rescue Org stated it received a report from an employee at Solomon Marketing that a stray cat whom he routinely fed while at work and disappeared for three months but suddenly came back with its front legs already chopped off.


The cat named “Monmon” is now temporarily housed at a volunteer’s home and will be brought to a veterinary clinic tomorrow to check on his wounds. The group initially tried to be bring “Monmon” to a nearby vet but the cat was very apprehensive and appeared stressed.


Netizens responded to the Facebook post and sent money via Gcash. Meanwhile, the group bought some initial supplies for the cat like cat food and cat litter box.


CDO Animal Rescue Org is currently looking for a foster home for “Monmon” as well as help to pay the bills for his visit to the vet clinic tomorrow. Those who want to help may send it to the GCash number below:
