Remember that private resthouse with a beautiful view deck that we featured last October 2021? Well, PAULA’S MOUNTAIN RIDGE is now open to the public and is worth visiting. Located at the boundary of Claveria, Misamis Oriental and Malitbog, Bukidnon, it is now accepting bookings for overnight stays particularly for groups. Visitors can also drop by the place and enjoy the view. Entrance is Php100.
GETTING THERE. Although Paula’s Mountain Ridge’s official address is Brgy Kiabo, Malitbog, Bukidnon, it is best accessible via Route 955 in Claveria. From Claveria View Deck, just proceed to Lanise Proper (along Route 955) and then turn right at the crossing. Along the way, you will pass by a Research Facility of the Department of Agriculture R-10. Just follow this road and about 4 kilometers from the highway is Paula’s. Although long stretches of this road are already 2-lane concreted, some portions are still unpaved that require small cars with low clearances to carefully negotiate said sections. See map below.

Here’s the view deck. A flight of terraces descend to the viewing platform. The place is still on soft opening and snacks and drinks (except water) are still not available to visitors.

Meanwhile, it’s resthouse can be booked exclusively. One room can accommodate 8 pax. Guests can also bring food to cook. Initial rate is Php 8,000/night.
