Vice President Leni Robredo topped the pre-election presidential survey conducted by Xavier University (XU) through The Crusader Publication among its students. There were 1,304 responses in the survey made open to all XU undergraduate and postgraduate students which ran from February 2-14, 2022. The number of respondents represents only 16.6% of the 7,834 total student population of XU.

Robredo led the survey with 930 votes (71.3%), followed by former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr with 174 votes (13.3%), former senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson with 44 votes (3.4%), Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso with 19 (1.5%), and labor leader Leody de Guzman with 12 votes (0.9%).
