Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte have maintained their lead in the latest national survey by Pulse Asia Research, Inc. The survey fieldwork was conducted from January 19 – 24, 2022 using face-to-face interviews.

Marcos’ lead in Pulse Asia’s presidential survey improved to 60 percent from the 53 percent he received in December 2021. Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo was a far second at 16 percent while Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and Senator Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao had 8 percent each and Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson had 4 percent.


Meanwhile, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte also padded her lead in the vice presidential poll with 50 percent, up from 45 percent in December. Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto was second at 29 percent, followed by Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan (11 percent), Dr. Willie Ong (5 percent), and Buhay party-list Rep. Jose “Lito” Atienza.


For the senatorial race, broadcaster Raffy Tulfo leads with 66.1%. Others who made it to the Top 12 include Taguig City Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano, Antique Rep. Loren Legarda, Sorsogon Gov. Francis Escudero, former Public Works and Highways secretary Mark Villar, Sen. Miguel Zubiri, Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, former vice president Jejomar Binay, former senator Jinggoy Estrada Ejercito Jr., Sen. Joel Villanueva, Sen. Risa Hontiveros, actor Robin Padilla, and former senator JV Estrada.
