Do you know what is the fastest animal in the world? Well, you can now see it up close at the Bukidnon Provincial Zoo after the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-10) recently facilitated the turn-over of a Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus ernesti) to the zoo last January 26, 2022 in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. The Peregrine Falcon is considered the fastest animal in the world that can reach speeds over 322 kph (200 mph).

The said bird of prey was found by Kagawad Romulo Trazona and his son from Cabangahan, Malaybalay City which they immediately informed the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Valencia City for proper turn-over.
