Only fully vaccinated travelers will be allowed at Laguindingan Airport starting today, January 17, 2022. This is based on the Department of Transportation Department Order No. 2022-001 and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Memo Circular 002-2022 which states that unvaccinated and partially vaccinated guests will not be allowed to use public transport, including air travel.

As such, fully vaccinated travelers (at least 2 weeks after 2nd dose) need to present the following upon entry:

  1. Physical or digital copies of an LGU-issued vaccine card or a DOH-issued vaccine certification or any IATF-prescribed document
  2. Valid government-issued ID with picture and address

There are also exceptions as follows:

  1. Persons with medical conditions that prevent full COVID-19 vaccination, as evidenced by a duly signed medical certificate with name and contact details of the physician; and
  2. Persons who will procure essential goods and services, such as but not limited to food, water, medicine, medical devices, public utilities, energy, work, and memdical and dental necessities, as evidenced by a duly issued barangay health pass or other appropriate proof to support and justify such travel.

Airlines have also issued advisories relative to the No Vaccination, No Ride Policy.
