Kapag namuti ang uwak” which translates into “When the crow turns white” is a common Filipino idiomatic expression of improbability or something which is impossible or extremely unlikely to occur. But yesterday, wild birds photographer Kirk Cabello from Cagayan de Oro City captured through his lens a rare “white crow” in the mountains of Jasaan, Misamis Oriental. The bird is actually an albino Large-Billed Crow, a once in a blue moon find.
