Wherever Chingkeetea goes, milk tea lovers also go. Cagayan de Oro’s famed milk tea shop recently opened its newest branch in Macasandig and just like its previous stores, the place is again packed with customers sharing stories in every cup of tea ordered.
GETTING THERE. The newest Chingkeetea branch is along Tomas Saco Street right across Palawan Pawnshop in Macasandig near the vicinity of Oro Christian Grace School and Corpus Christi Grade School. See map below.
This is the frontage of the newest Chingkeetea.
You can’t miss the large signage.
You can observe Chingkeetea’s unique logo.
Known for its uniquely designed interiors which are virtually life-sized pages from a scrapbook. the newest Chingkeetea is so far the largest with a wide al fresco (garden) area as shown below.
Unlike other branches, the open area is wide enough to enable rearranging the tables and chairs to comply with physical distancing.
You can still observe the original house.
…and the small garden feature…
Once inside, you’ll feel the homey ambiance and the tea lovers lining up for order.
Its menu is on the wall….milk teas, fruit teas, specialty drinks and Korean ramen.
Again, new stories to share in the new location.
Or perhaps, a good place to finish some reports…
…or spending some intimate conversations with your loved one.
Each room inside the house has been converted into a small dining area.
Some have already scheduled meet-ups onsite.
There’s also a small table at the back which can provide some sort of privacy and some selfie moments.
This is the side access from the front to the back.
If you haven’t been to the new Chingkeetea, guess it’s time to set the date.
Check it out….
