Cagayan de Oro’s 13-year-old chess phenom Woman National Master (WNM) Ruelle Canino placed 2nd in the girls section while fellow Kagayanon Adrian Othniel Yulo and Ruelle’s brother Ronald Canino placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively in the boys section in the just concluded 2021 Philippine National Juniors Chess Championships held December 3-7 at the PACE Center along North Avenue in Quezon City. Congratulations!
