The 65.6-kilometer Cagayan de Oro-Malaybalay Section of the proposed Central Mindanao Highway will be a separate highway to complement Sayre Highway and will have five interchanges constructed near urban centers. This will contribute to enhanced connectivity between both cities as well as economic development of the surrounding area.
