Barangay Dumalaguing is a large mountainous area in the Municipality of Impasug-ong on the northeast portion of Bukidnon Province. It is the largest barangay in Impasug-ong comprising 19,327.18 hectares of which 17,781.3 hectares are classified as Timberland (source: MPDO-CLUP 2009). It is that rugged mountain landscape you see across Tagoloan River.
As shown below, Brgy Dumalaguing is accessible via Kalabugao Road. From Sayre Highway Junction, it is more or less 22 kilometers to Dumalaguing Elementary School through rough roads. A much shorter access is through Impasug-ong Poblacion through pineapple fields and again rough roads across Tagoloan River. Its population is 2,800 (Census 2015). Farming is the main source of livelihood while the mode of transportation is basically motorcycle (habal-habal).
