Have you seen BALANGIKOG FALLS yet? This hidden natural gem is that waterfalls you see when you’re at Vista West Cafe at Kili-og, Libona, Bukidnon. The falls is located in Imbatug (Poblacion), Baungon, Bukidnon.
Before Vista West Cafe was opened last year, only locals have known of the existence of this waterfalls which has three cascades from the top dropping to the Bubunawan River Valley floor. Watch this video by Project LUPAD.
When Vista West Cafe was opened, first time visitors easily spotted the waterfall which can be clearly seen right across the river valley.
From that tourist ridge, you can only see one waterfall.
But up close, there are actually three of them cascading down the cliff.
GETTING THERE. If you want to see the falls up close, see the map below. Take the road going to Baungon, Bukidnon. From Route 945 at Lumbia, turn left towards Cabula Bridge. Once you reach the plateau, take note of the landmark which is the housing project on the right side. Turn left at the junction right after it where you’ll see a waiting shed with a signage ROTODA ASSOCIATION. This entry road leads straight to the trekking site to the falls which will take about an hour. (NOTE: UV Express Vans bound for Baungon have a terminal at Carmen Market)
