John Paul Erram and Glenn Khobuntin, both from Cagayan de Oro City has just won their first PBA Championship following TNT Tropang Giga’s 94-79 win over Magnolia Pambansang Manok Hotshots in Game 5 of the PBA Philippine Cup tonight at the Don Honorio Ventura State University gym in Bacolor, Pampanga. Congratulations!

It was some sort of a homecoming for Erram who was drafted by Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters in 2013 but never got to play for the team. Erram had 7 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks in the title-clinching game.

In 2014, he was team captain of National University (NU) when they won the UAAP title over Far Eastern University (FEU) ending a 60-year drought. He is shown below embracing his parfents after that historic win.

Interestingly, Khobuntin’s teammates on that 2014 UAAP champion team included TNT teammates Troy Rosario and Jayjay Alejandro. On the other hand, another teammate in Roger Pogoy was on the losing FEU side.
