A resident in Balulang, Cagayan de Oro City woke up to see a reticulated python slithering down on their gate early Friday morning, October 22, 2021. A team of the City Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) was immediately dispatched to the site at around 6:47AM and captured the python which weighed around 10 kilograms. The snake was later turned over to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region X (DENR-X) for safekeeping.
