Here is the latest progress update on the construction of Yakult El Salvador (Y.E.S.), the company’s second manufacturing plant in the country located in Barangay Quibonbon, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental and is targeted to for completion in January 2023.
The facility will have a maximum daily production capacity of 3.2 million bottles of its mainstay Yakult and low-calorie Yakult Light. It will initially produce 1.6 million bottles of Yakult and Yakult Light daily, and its expansion will depend on demand. Check out photo updates below courtesy of Project LUPAD.

The plant is along Quibonbon Road, about a kilometer from the National Highway. You can see Asia Brewery Inc. in the background.

Total project area is around 4 hectares which is larger than its first plant in Calamba, Laguna.

Layouting is still ongoing.

Construction of perimeter fence is also ongoing.

Basically, the building footprints of its major components have been delineated.

Simultaneous construction of the various buildings are observed.

The project is set to provide more employment opportunities for qualified job applicants.
