The Land Transportation and Franchising & Regulatory Board of Region 10 (LTFRB-10) recently launched more modern public utility vehicles (PUVJ) of the Baungon Transport Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BATRANS-MPC) and Consuelo Magsaysay Gingoog United Drivers Transport Service Cooperative (CMGUDTSC) under the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) at SM City, Upper Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City last Friday, October 8, 2021.
Eleven (11) PUJ class II and UVE class II from BATRANS plying the routes Carmen Market to Baungon (PUJ class II) and Carmen Market to San Vicente Baungon (UVE class II) started their operations yesterday, October 9.
Sixteen (16) PUJ class II of CMGUDTS also started plying the route Magsaysay to Gingoog City and vice-versa.
Meanwhile after the launching, several contract signings between LTFRB X Regional Director Aminoden Guro and transport cooperatives were held under the Service Contracting Program Phase II. They include Baungon Transport (BATRANS-MPC), Misamis Iligan Lanao Transport Service Cooperative, CIJODA Transport Cooperative and Camoda Multi-Purpose Service Cooperative.
