They say that a hug, an embrace heals. But how can that be possible in this time of COVID-19 pandemic when social distancing is a new norm? Last September 27, 2021, members of the Cagayan de Oro Executive Lions Club in partnership with Northern Mindanao Lions Club Council of Presidents found a creative (symbolic) way of giving embrace through Project Handog Yakap where they gave 124 jackets, 45 packs of 5kg rice, and game cash prizes for the kids and parents of Leukemia Parents & Patient Organization (LEUPAPO Inc.) in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro during its 5th year anniversary celebration!
