Barangay officials from Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City recently conducted an ocular inspection at the old Philadelphia School located at Lower Patpat as the possible site for the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) Lumbia Campus which they have initially proposed.

The site is located just a kilometer southeast of the Barangay Proper of Lumbia. See map below.

The old school has an existing campus building with 18 classrooms, function hall, basketball court and water tank. See zoomed satellite image below.

It can be recalled that last April 26, Barangay Lumbia passed a resolution asking Cagayan de Oro 1st District Representative Rolando “Klarex” Uy to sponsor a bill in the House of the Representatives for an additional campus of USTP in their barangay. Read our post below.
