
RYAN ARISTOTLE A. CARREON, a Kagay-anon artist who gave honor and pride to Cagayan de Oro after his painting was chosen to be given to Pope Francis on the occasion of the 500-year anniversary of Christianity in the Philippines at Saint Peter’s Basilica in Vatican in March of this year, was given a special Plaque of Appreciation today, August 28, 2021 by the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro in collaboration with the City Government of Cagayan de Oro for such achievement.
Archbishop Jose Cabantan personally have the plaque to Mr. Carreon (center, photo below) right after the 10:30AM Mass today at Saint Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral.
