If not for the pandemic, there could have been a welcome party including a motorcade. Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye “Cindy” Obeñita arrived home without fanfare. It was her first time to be back home since her coronation last July 12.

And this morning, she was feted during the virtual flag raising ceremony at the Misamis Oriental Provincial Capitol by Governor Bambi Emano, together with Provincial Tourism Officer Atty. Jeffrey Saclot and her mentor Mr. Michael Villamor.

Also, as part of her homecoming, Cindy made a courtesy visit at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) Session Hall and was warmly congratulated by Misamis Oriental Vice Governor Jeremy Jonahmar “Jigjag” G. Pelaez and all the Provincial Board Members. She received a token of appreciation in the form of framed copy of an SP resolution citing her achievement and a bouquet.
