The City-owned JR Borja General Hospital recently opened its new 16-bed Emerging and Re-Emerging Infectious Disease (EREID) Annex providing additional facility for mild and moderate Covid-19 patients. Those patients temporarily housed in tents are now transferred to the EREID Annex.

The hospital attended 65 Covid-positive patients for the period July 16 to August 15, which is significantly lower than 120 patients they attended to in June.
