
The City Government of Cagayan de Oro has added 339 more beds in the City Isolation Units (CIU) and Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities (TTMF) increasing the number of isolation beds to nearly 1,800 as the city tries to address the surge of Covid-19 infections in the city.
The city added 189 beds in TTMFs for a total bed capacity of 1,143. Asymptomatic or mild cases are quarantined in TTMFs. Meanwhile, there were 150 more beds in CIUs for 603 total bed capacity. CIUs are where close contacts and individuals with Covid-19 symptoms are isolated.




Also, City Hall released an initial computation of P44,310 in maintaining CIUs and TTMFs per individual which covers the 14-day mandatory quarantine, contact tracing, extraction and reintegration, accommodation, meals and hygiene kits, RT-PCR test, disinfection, and medicines and vitamins.
