Niño Cesar Borromeo Tiro from Cagayan de Oro City is among sixty-three (63) artists who will be awarded for this year’s Ani ng Dangal by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). Tiro who is also a piano and music faculty of the Liceo Conservatory of Music, Theater and Dance is recognized for his achievements in the field of music.

He is one of four recipients in music.

Launched in 2009, the Ani ng Dangal (Harvest of Honors) Award recognizes artists who have earned international awards and accolades in the field of architecture and allied arts, literary arts, music, visual arts and cinema. The formal awarding ceremony is scheduled tomorrow, August 15 and will be streamed live in Facebook.
