
Area you ready for some strawberry picking when travel restrictions are eased? Residents in Misamis Occidental and nearby areas can now see a strawberry farm up close with SAMSON STRAWBERRY FARM located at Barangay Nueva Vista in Don Victoriano town where you can harvest (pick) strawberries with your family and friends, buy seedlings, enjoy the cool weather and of course eat strawberries.


Everyone is free to visit the farm which is located along the western slopes of Mt. Malindang Range Natural Park. It is open Monday to Sunday.
Rates
- Strawberry picking: P500/kg
- Picture taking with free taste: P50.00 per head
- Runner / Seedling (ready to transplant): P50.00 each
The strawberry plots are built along rolling terrain.







You can bring your friends for strawberry picking.



Plastic containers are provided.



How many can you pick?





Due to its high elevation, the area is sometimes covered with fog.



The place is also perfect for some “strawberry photoshoots”.




After harvestting, you can have your strawberry weighed.

A visit to the farm isn’t complete without a group photo.



Misamis Occidental Governor Phillip Tan and his staff recently visited the site and is expressed optimism the farm would be a new eco-tourism destination in the province when the pandemic ends.
