A large rodent believed to be a certain species of squirrel roused a resident in Iligan City from his sleep. As shown in the photos posted by netizen Juan Panggal, the animal resembles a large rat but having large eyes and a large long hairy tail. A netizen commented it is a Philippine Pygmy Squirrel which is endemic to the Philippines.
