Another set of vaccines, comprising of about 5,000 doses, have been shipped by the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) and has arrived last July 12, 2021 in Cagayan de Oro City. These vaccines will be distributed to other parts of Northern Mindanao including Iligan, Gingoog, Bukidnon and Camiguin. A succeeding batch will also be distributed to Butuan, Surigao and Ozamiz City to complete the whole Northern Mindanao Bakuna Project.
A portion of the newly arrived vaccines also comprises the second dose that will be utilized by the Cagayan de Oro Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CDOFCCCII. The said organization has already inoculated their first doses from July 6-9, 2021 at Polymedic Medical Plaza.
Cagayan de Oro is the third city outside of the National Capital Region to implement the rollout. The distribution of vaccines is part of the efforts of the CDOFCCCII together with the FFCCCII to fight against the pandemic and promote the importance of vaccines in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
