Flying drone car builder Kyxz Mendiola flew a Filipino-made hoverboard over the SBMA Freeport Zone yesterday, July 10, at a distance of 2.89 kilometers which is longer than the current world record of 2.2 kilometers. The said feat will be submitted to the Guinness World Records.

The hoverboard was made by Star 8 Green Technology Corporation and ran on battery. Mendiola flew for seven minutes and 22 seconds at a height of 30 feet. Watch GMA News below.
