The milestone event held at the ground floor of the hospital’s new Carpark Building was attended by Department of Health (DOH) Regional Director Jose Llacuna and Assistant Regional Director Ellenieta Gamolo. Polymedic Medical Plaza is CDOFCCCII’s health service provider for the vaccination program.
Around 1,600 essential workers from CDOFCCCII’s member companies are scheduled to receive their first dose of Sinovac for the period July 6-9, 2021. Their second dose will be administered after 4 weeks. The daily vaccination activity is limited to around 400 scheduled recipients to maintain physical distancing and avoid overcrowding in compliance to health protocols.
Meanwhile, some 5,400 essential workers from non-member companies who have also pre-ordered the vaccines are included in the program. A total 10,000 individuals from all over Northern Mindanao are part of the vaccination program of the federation including 3,000 members from neighboring cities from Ozamiz to Surigao. These include Oroquieta, Ozamiz, Gingoog, Butuan and Surigao, and in the provinces of Lanao del Norte, Bukidnon and Camiguin.
