Concreting of the Balulang approach of the 2-lane 240-meter Balulang-Macasandig Bridge in Cagayan de Oro City is still ongoing based on latest aerial updates on its construction courtesy of Project LUPAD. Based on the progress update, we could expect the bridge to be finally opened to traffic hopefully soon.
The Balulang Approach is now connected to the Carmen-Balulang Road. As shown the red pavements of the sidewalk have been completed.
Concreting started in the middle part.
Here’s a closer shot of the middle part of the approach. There is still a need to install street lights on the Balulang Approach.
The bridge is the 7th to span Cagayan de Oro River and is aimed to provide another alternate route for motorists particularly in the southern section of the city.
The Macasandig side was first to be completed.
Here’s the bridge looking downstream.
