The Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) has a new Officer-In-Charge in the person of PCol. Aaron M. Mandia. He takes over the post of outgoing City Police Director PCol. Henry G. Dampal who has reached the maximum 2 year tour of duty. Prior to his appointment, Col. Mandia was head of the Logistics Division of the Police Regional Office 10 at Camp Alagar.
A native of Marinduque Province where he finished college, Col. Mandia was assigned in Cagayan de Oro after graduating from the Philippine National Police Academy. He is shown below during his courtesy call on City Mayor Oscar Moreno right after assuming his duty as OIC City Director of COCPO.
