Motorists encountered heavy traffic in the eastern section of Cagayan de Oro Friday afternoon, June 18, 2021 after a flatbed truck became wedged against the edge of the National Highway in Gusa.

As shown, the rear end of the low-bed trailer carrying construction material got stuck against the pavement while exiting the warehouse compound near BME Partners – RAC Commercial blocking the eastbound lanes. Several trucks have already encountered problesm at the site in previous occasions. Sources state the heavy traffic reached Cugman and along Coastal Road.

The driver/operator was issued a Traffic Citation Ticket and was penalized for having violated Traffic Rules in accordance to City Ordinance 10551-2007.
