A Kagayanon has graduated 1st in her high school class with highest honors in the United States. Kaye Alexandra Louise D. Arancon also received six scholarship grants for her college education after topping her class at Ajo Unified School District in Arizona, USA with a 4.0 GPA.
Her graduation took place last May 26, 2021.
Kaye is the daughter of Chelly de Guia Arancon, who we featured last November after she was named OUTSTANDING FOREIGN WORKER IN SPECIAL EDUCATION by New York-based Team United Maharlika Foundation Inc., a Filipino-American community organization which aims to promote to the mainstream community Filipino culture and heritage. Before coming to the US, Kaye spent her 7th – 10th grade at Gusa Regional Science High School in Cagayan de Oro City.
Do you know that Kaye also worked at Chevron while studying? After school which ends at 3:30PM, she goes to work from 4:00PM to 9:00PM. Her diligence also paid off after her employer gave her scholarship too aside from the 6 scholarships she already received from school.
