After two years of separation because of her membership with the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG), a mother was finally reunited with her daughter at the Headquarters of the 8th Infantry “Dependable” Battalion, Philippine Army in Impasugong, Bukidnon last April 28, 2021.

Reports state that Melina M. Gamut alyas Mila was forced to hand over her 1-week old second child to the Benlot family who were back then still supporters of the communist rebels. She left her child at So. Kisayab, Brgy Bonacao, San Fernando, Bukidnon.
