There will be no “panaad” this year as all places in Cagayan de Oro City where throngs of religious pilgrims usually gather during the Holy Week will be CLOSED to the public from March 27 to April 4, 2021 by virtue of Executive Order No. 034, series of 2021 signed by Mayor Oscar S. Moreno.

Among those that are called “Panaad” destinations are Malasag area, Guadalupe Shrine, Camarahan Ridge and other places where people are expected to congregate during the Holy Week.

Religious services that are allowed include masses, evangelical gatherings and similar church and religious services. However, the traditional religious processions and “Stations of the Cross” are excluded. Read below.
